Greetings all,

Welcome to the first This Week at the Table: the tabletop news worth your time, and what we think of it. This week brings a license shake-up at Renegade and Ravenloft dragged into the modern day.

Renegade loses the Vampire license, keeps its Hasbro games

Vampire goes back to White Wolf, and Renegade keeps Transformers, G.I. Joe, and its other Hasbro licenses. They still have Dungeon Crawler Carl too, and after the starter set (our review), I'm hoping the next release gets the care that setting deserves.

Project Lamordia: Ravenloft goes modern

D&D Beyond is teasing Project Lamordia, a modern-day reinterpretation of Ravenloft, with a new adventure due in October. I'm intrigued. A modern Ravenloft is giving me serious Resident Evil vibes, and the timing right before Halloween doesn't hurt.

A book of classic D&D dungeon maps

Dungeons! Illustrated Maps of Classic Dungeons & Dragons Adventures walks through the maps of classic D&D adventures, out April 27, 2027. I'll likely end up buying this one for the nostalgia. It looks fun and a little humorous, with throwback maps from my childhood.

A $399.99 Tarrasque

Iron Studios has a 9.5-inch Tarrasque statue up for preorder at $399.99. That's a lot of gold for one monster. Would you put it on your shelf?
